Lavender and Frankincense Salve

This salve is great for a relaxing neck massage at the end of a long day!  But both herbs have several possible benefits when used topically! 

Possible benefits: 

Lavender has antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It can make a great addition to a skincare routine and may reduce fine lines and acne. 

It is calming and used a lot for aromatherapy. It has several other possible benefits as well. But may bother certain people and dogs.

Frankincense has been shown to reduce heart rate and high blood pressure when inhaled as aromatherapy. 

A study done on Frankincense showed that it contains compounds that have the ability to activate certain channels in the brain that help with anxiety and depression. 

It also has immune-enhancing abilities, antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. In studies, the boswellic acid in Frankincense has been found to induce apoptosis in certain c*cer cells. 

It strengthens skin and helps with the effects of aging. It may reduce scars and treat wounds.

It may help sleep, may help balance hormones, and the list goes on and on!

2 ounces

Ingredients: Organic avocado oil, organic lavender flowers, beeswax, Frankincense EO

Suggested use: apply a thin layer of salve over skin 3 times a day, or as needed.

For topical use only.

Some people do experience allergic reactions to topical Lavender and/or Frankincense use. Spot testing is recommended. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

Not for use on pets! Lavender is known to bother some dogs more than others and does contain a compound called linalool, that can be toxic to dogs and cats in high doses.
